Ral, thank you so much for the invite to join these beautiful people in a celebration of words. What an amazing collection of memory-rooms. I was drawn in by all the stories. I feel as though I've moved into a shared house of writers. Thank you.
And I would love to join you again Ral. It’s so good to be part of a writing community and be inspired by everyone else’s work. Especially yours! All the time you put into this, thank you 🤩
thank you too very much Oli. It was amazing having you as always, and it made me feel very proud of what I’m doing and a lot more confidence about the community and how far we go from now.
It certainly feels like home to me. I love the talent and the creativity. But mostly I love the conviviality and collaboration. Ral thanks so much for the invitation 🌹
Oh Jocelyn. I should be the one thanking you for gracing us with your amazing presence.
I’ve always known I wanted to build a community of writers and creators who come together and have some fun,
Share some real-time moments together and doing this in the last month has really brought life and I feel so confident that now I’m no longer alone and I have a community of people who share the same values and Love as I do.
Dear Ral, thank you for including my story of that one room - the Women’s Ward - I thought I might not leave alive. But, I did and it became a powerful memory.
Each of the submissions in this memory house shows how dynamic and creative memory is for each of us. Time is always relative and never boring in memory. I would like to reread and respond to each of the writers who contributed to this fabulous house of memories.
But Ral you gave us the prompt and gathered our work to make a house of many rooms. Your editorial comments add flavour and the colours of inspiration abound in the images shared. Your work is a blessing 🌹
please don’t make me cry, Jocelyn. I had to read all of these species and edit them and see what I thought about them and I didn’t cry and now you’re about to make me cry.
I’m so happy you found this revolutionary. It’s all I’ve always wanted to do and I’m so happy. I’m finally doing it.
These were amazing. I hope most of you use these experiences and descriptions on your stories. I look forward to reading more of what everyone has to say.
@Jenine - Trees, nature - they are just something else, an elixir for us humans, thanks for sharing 🌻
@Caroline - This was powerful writing! I am so glad that your journey led you to a free, independent and liberated version of yourself - away from toxicity! 🫂
This doesn’t feel like an ordinary place… Only well-read minds evolve to think, feel, and notice things that ordinary folks often miss in their day-to-day lives...as if they have an extra heart that beats.
I feel so grateful to be part of this community.
Thanks to Ral for introducing me here, and special thanks to Nimita Kaul for sharing your feedback on everyone’s stories.
Awwnn🥰 I should be the one saying a special beautiful thank you to you, Carolyn.
You blessed us with your amazing essay and it was beyond words. Memories are beautiful just as it is painful, but above all, it is ours and we cherish it.
Thank you, @Ral Joseph, @Oli Trollgora, @Tracy Scott-Townsend, @Laura Catanzano, @Christine Burgmer, @Jocelyn Mills, @Harinath Babu, @Mark Farley, @Sue Banerji, @David Crouch, @Nimita Kaul, @Laney Mills, @Jenine Baines, @Caroline Gakii -- what an extraordinary collection! So honored to be part of this group <3
You are one of us. (I just pictured the scene from the movie “Freaks” where the circus performers all sat around the table, chanting and singing. ‘One of Us’.”)
@Christine - You gave me hope in abundance, as an entrepreneur such vulnerable and real accounts are encouraging and inspiring! Thank you💛
@Jocelyn - Despite knowing that you are ok now and have recovered, I was hooked till the end, hoping it ends well for you. That is a talent very few possess. Thank you🤩
@Elizabeth (Sacred Rebelle) - So sorry for your loss. Hugs!
I could relate to feeling the presence of loved ones when they have transitioned. It's a very strong feeling. Thank you for sharing 🫂
@Nimita Kaul That means a lot to me — truly. As entrepreneurs, we often only see the polished version of success. I’m glad my story offered a more honest view. Thank you for the kind words — and here’s to staying real and moving forward, even when it’s messy. 💛
actually, we didn’t want to saying thank you thank you thank you, Mark.
For choosing us and for being a part of our Orbit and our community. This is what I’ve always wanted to do, to build a space where everyone can come as messy as they are and also as beautiful as they are and still shine like this sun.
Thank you Nimita, it was a privilege to be asked to share my memory along with all these other wonderful creative pieces. Having a prompt to follow is so inspiring. I'm proud to be in your company.
@Oli - always a pleasure reading your process and writing! Loved the thought behind details and withholding of the same to highlight your stories. Learning so much from you on the way, thanks for sharing ✨
@Carolyn - Kudos to you and in awe of your advisor! I wish all students/ humans could have such presence in their lives ro highlight their strengths and help recognise in themselves when they need it the most. Thank you for this account, I'm hopeful and pleased 💛
You are welcome. The original idea of just writing a memory didn’t sit right for me, especially since I use them to add flavor to stories, as I said. So thought I would give a bit more of my writing process instead.
This completely blew me away. It finally feels like home in here. Don't you agree?
Thanks to all the the beautiful, amazing, marvelous and incredibly talented and supportive writers who decided to join us on this edition.
You have my heart 💗
Thank you so much Ral.... It was truly overwhelming to see my story featured today.
I had no idea it would turn out like this.
Thank you again—it made me feel like a star. It felt like my story actually mattered to many.
I'm so happy to have you here. And yes, I'll review the story you mentioned and see if it fits next week.
Have a beautiful Sunday tomorrow

These were amazing. I hope most of you use these experiences and descriptions on your stories. I look forward to reading more of what everyone has to say.
even I was amazed at the amount of truth being told here, even therapy can't do this much.
@Mark - your account was gripping, and so true, the way memory works and leaves us amazed at times like this. 🌻
@Harinath - Moms leave us dumbstruck at times with how ahead of times, non judgmental, loving and accepting they are.
I had the jingle playing in my head throughout - _Vicco turmeric, nahin cosmetic, Vicco turmeric ayurvedic cream_
Thank you for the journey down memory lane 🤩
This is so good....❤️
I am glad you liked my story Nimita...I am so thankful to Ral for publishing my story here.
Yip ...That Jingle always plays in my head too... Growing up thats only cosmetic cream ad I used to notice as my mom use it.
@Jenine - Trees, nature - they are just something else, an elixir for us humans, thanks for sharing 🌻

Still reading this great lineup of gems, honoured to be part of it💛
Thanks Nimita❤️
As for @David Crouch - I was on that same boat, and he barely recognized me 🌝
It’s OK I’m not jealous at all
You have the secret of eternal youth if you were on that boat!
🤭

@Laura - I'm speechless, I read it twice and am still unsure if I completely grasped the power of the moment you described.
It grips the attention of the reader and takes them along with you. 💖
